In the final part of the discussion, Braden speculated that humanity may be far older than mainstream science believes. He referenced a skull discovered in China — estimated to be a million years old — possibly belonging to the extinct Denisovan species.

Anthropologist Chris Stringer from London’s Natural History Museum described such findings as “a milestone” in understanding human evolution, adding, “Discoveries like these show how little we still know about our origins.”

Genetic studies also suggest that modern humans interbred with Neanderthals and Denisovans, reinforcing the idea that human history is far more complex and ancient than currently accepted.

Braden concluded by suggesting that humanity may have undergone intentional genetic modification in the distant past, citing a 2005 study of human chromosome 2, which contains genes linked to brain function, vision, and immunity.

He noted that the structure of chromosome 2 shows an unusual fusion of two ancestral chromosomes — a pattern resembling modern genetic engineering. “Today we can analyze DNA and see what this evolutionary leap required,” he said. “In my view, that’s the strongest evidence yet that advanced humans existed long before us.”
