Apple Boosts iPhone 17 Production After Strong Pre-Orders

Apple is witnessing remarkable demand for the base iPhone 17 model, as The Information reported that the company has asked at least two suppliers to increase daily production by no less than 30%. The move follows stronger-than-expected pre-orders recorded over the past weekend.

What stands out is that consumers this time are leaning toward the standard iPhone 17, priced at $799, rather than the more expensive Pro models, which start at $1,099. While the Pro lineup typically offers superior materials, advanced camera systems, faster processors, and better display technology, the more affordable price tag of the base model seems to have attracted a wider customer base.

However, this trend could pose a challenge for Apple’s revenue growth, as heavier reliance on the lower-priced version may limit overall profit expansion. Still, the strong demand signals that the iPhone 17 has already made a solid impression just days after its official launch on Friday.
